"Something irresistible" - singer Shepley Metcalf unveils a treasure...

San Francisco singer born Shepley Metcalf brings his acclaimed critic Fran Landesman tribute at the Rrazz room at Hotel Nikko San Francisco for a show in June. "Irresistible Something," with songs by Landesman (spring can really Hang you Up The Most) and the composer of jazz British Simon Wallace, performs on 21 June at 8 h Metcalf join will be one of the favorite pianists of the San Francisco, Mike Greensill.

Recent registration of the Metcalf, "something irresistible: songs of Fran Landesman + Simon Wallace," released in March 2010, was given four stars by Jazzwise, of United Kingdom, noted jazz magazine.

The record represents the discography of Landesman amazing expansion, which had very little additions since the mercurial tunesmith retired to London in the mid-1960s. Metcalf has been drawn to mature and thoughtful themes of Landesman who often speak to situations of real life in addition to these staples of the American Songbook lyricists, love and romance.
