"thufferin thuccotash! Sylvester the cat, Tweety Bird, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Wile e. Coyote and Road Runner all will return to the theatres of three original Looney Tunes cartoon 3D theatrical shorts produced by Warner Bros. Animation and directed by Matthew O'Callaghan (Coyote falls). Two new short films - Rhapsody of Daffy and I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat - will feature the voice of the late, great Mel Blanc. The legendary actor known as the man of a thousand voices brought to life some most revered characters in the history of animation in a famous career six decades. White will appear in shorts - which are created with animation of CG-at the cutting edge and rendered in 3D stereoscopic - via original songs, he has recorded in character in the 1950s.
The announcement was made today by Peter Roth, President, Warner Bros. Television, which oversees the television Studio, and Sam Register animation, Executive Vice President, creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Animation (WBA). Registry disclosed news of three shorts original - which also include an as-yet-untitled adventure featuring the Coyote and Road Runner - during a presentation at of Annecy Animation Festival International du Film.
"Everyone at Warner Bros. Animation has grown to love the Looney Tunes characters, and it was a great honour and a huge challenge to continue the legacy of these icons of animation and introduce them to a new generation of fans,", said the registry. "And to have the incomparable Mel Blanc expressing these characters once more nothing less than a dream became a reality for us all.".

Shorts theatrical new following closely after the launch of the Looney Tunes Show, a series of new comedy modern Warner Bros. Animation that debuted in May and airs Tuesdays at c 8/7 on Cartoon Network. The animated television series finds Bugs and Daffy living together as unlikely roommates: Bugs is as shameless, sarcastic and ahead-of-the-game ever, while Daffy - despite his narcissistic tendencies, sociopathe and paranoid - is best friend of bugs and houseguest apparently permanent.
In 2010, Warner Bros. Animation has unveiled its first shorts of cartoon three CG, which included Wile e. Coyote and Road Runner. The first, Coyote Falls, has been selected for the Academy Award ® for best short film (animation) and was nominated for an Annie Award for Best animated short film.
