Internal market for San Francisco luxury shows signs of a turnaround, according to prominent Bay Area real estate agent Cece Doricko, which specializes in the Forest Hill, Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow, and St. Francis Wood, CA real estate. Citing figures from the latest report of the San Francisco of Coldwell Banker luxury market, Doricko reported an increase in the number of sales 13.6% in the first quarter of 2011, compared to the same period last year.
"Pacific Heights real estate luxury buyers and other San Francisco luxury properties are beginning to feel once again, their presence", said Doricko, "and it is not surprising why." Houses in these sorts of neighbourhoods were always sought and now there are a few that are priced lower than they have been for some time. It is then, no wonder that buyers who have the means are not let these opportunities pass. »
On a year basis, the average selling price of San Francisco real estate luxury property decreased by 4.3% in the first quarter, but it shows an increase of 3.9% over the fourth quarter of 2010. "You do see any dramatic price plunges in these neighbourhoods," explains Forest Hill, San Francisco, Realtor Doricko leader. "Properties in such areas as Forest Hill and Pacific Heights were always at a premium, so some price declines, you are seeing now are likely to be, especially since the luxury sales are already oriented towards the top.
