Technomad is set to introduce first fully weather-resistant, all-in-one of the world, self-casing portable PA system for the market commercial pro audio to InfoComm 2011 (June 15-17, Orange County Convention Center Orlando, booth 537).
Dragonfly, adapted from the Technomad rugged military technology, is ideal for mobile pro audio and staging of events which require exceptional audio quality, lightweight portability, quick installation, ease of use and sustainable construction for outdoor events. The self-casing, design of 100 percent weather-resistant fully protects the components of the system of moisture, dirt, shock, and other elements in outdoor environments, all support ceremonies and parades to concerts and sporting events.
The inclusion of the power of green, rechargeable battery and long term, with a powerful audio output, supports audio mobile free extensions for a variety of about 2,150 in size. Technology of NiMH battery, which uses materials nickel metal hydride, is much more energy efficient than lead-based batteries used today in many portable audio systems.
Dragonfly offers a way single compact format of a fully functional PA unit, calibrated to 14-1/2 "x 8-1/4"x 14"and weighing 28 pounds." Other standard features include 16 + selectable by the user channel UHF applications, an integrated wireless microphone and an expansion bay to support an additional microphone and a CD player. Network interfaces for audio streaming to other systems of PA or audio reception on a network via a wireless connection are included. Users can also add a reading of the Technomad Schedulon mp3 files and registration system for instant, manual audio reading uploaded by the user; or scheduling of automatic reading of (single-, multiple or repeated game) files using down in second.
The convergence of neo-pilot, amplification, and NiMH battery technology supports the compact, lightweight, portable PA design and power. Internal NiHM battery comes with a charger to power in the field, and the unit operates the 120-240VAC power and 12-24VDC - doing useful Dragonfly as an inside or outside PA system fixed, temporary or permanent.
Dragonfly began shipping on July 1.
