The ASPCA ® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals ®) announced that it has created the ASPCA disaster fund and that he accepts requests for shelter qualified disaster grant and other animal protection organizations in States affected by today or respond to recent incidents involving violent weather phenomena.
In the framework of the effort, Rachael Ray Nutrish ® dog food line television personality and his initiative philanthropic rescue Rachael have established a partnership with ASPCA disaster fund to engage in the need for support with a generous contribution of funds and food for animals. Any product of Ray from each sale of its pet food to go rescue Rachael and in the short years since its launch, the brand of Rachael Ray Nutrish has raised and donated more to animal charities $ 1.5 million.

Candidates to the ASPCA disaster fund must meet the following eligibility criteria:
•Non-profit organization or Government agency, municipal or County control animals, with a mission for the protection of animals and an ID of federal tax (EIN/employer's Identification number);
•Qualified shelter or another organization of animal welfare in the States affected by or responding to the recent incidents of severe weather, most organizations outside these States providing awareness and assistance;
•Directly affected by or provide/participant in direct response; natural disaster in spring 2011 and
•In need for immediate assistance.
The ASPCA disaster fund eligible applications include assistance in cash for the following purposes:
•Food banks and food for animals at risk;
•Shelter supplies and equipment.
•Rescue supplies and equipment.
•Sheltering or temporary boarding and foster animals rescued or at risk;
Transfers/•transport/relocation of animals.
•Veterinary of fresh or medical care for animals;
Charges •overtime for the shelter staff.
•Travel and related ancillary costs for personnel shelter or personnel deployed in the affected areas of disaster to help the disaster for animals; and
•Infrastructure repair/reconstruction.
Eligible applicants directly affected by and/or respond to the floods and recent tornado affected States more organizations outside these States providing awareness and assistance may submit a request for disaster here.
All ASPCA grant applications are subject to the guidelines for the review, approval and acceptance standards as described on this site. We appreciate the patience of our candidates with non-urgent requests as we accommodate applications of the disaster.
