In the "Friends Disney for game change", Disney will donate $ 125,000 to each charity and charity of the winning team will receive an additional amount of $100,000. Funds will help support WWF conservation efforts and help secure a future in which people live in harmony with nature.

"Places like the Great Plains of the northern part of our American heritage and are special for the people living there and well beyond." The wide open spaces and epic grandeur reflect the American spirit of freedom and are home to a large part of our unique wildlife and endangered. "A vote for the red team will help us to work together to protect people, species and the grasslands of this magical place and other places important and species around the world," said Martha Kauffman of the WWF, Director of the Northern Great Plains program.

WWF works in many vital areas to preserve and protect the habitats and species that live there. For example, the Great Plains of the North is home to hundreds of birds, butterflies and more than 90 mammals such as bison, antelope and black-footed ferret, one of the mammals more endangered in North America. People living in the prairie can trace their roots generations; centuries, even for the Indians. In the Great Plains of the North, we have a fleeting opportunity to retain and strengthen both the natural and cultural heritage of America.

Mystery solved: the Champagne more expensive in the world sold in a...

Written By anfaku01 on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 | 10:27 PM

History was made when Russian Buyan Haute Cuisine & Caviar Bar located in the Singapore Republic, won the most expensive Champagne in the world in a fierce bidding war. Buyan, which offer good market fare Russian traditional and Russian high cuisine means for the Czars, paid 30 €000 (SGD43, 630) for a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, which is supposed to be 170 years.

He also paid 24 €000 for the Juglar, an extinct House of champagne who was one of the Favorites of Napoleon I. He was awarded a gold medal, Juglar House in 1810 19 years before the estate was purchased by Jacquesson.

The bottles, which have been sold in an exclusive auction sale of two bottles of best tasted of the wreck, by the Prime Minister the Acker Merrall & Condit wine auction house. They were part of a treasure of bottles of wine 145 found by divers last year in a shipwreck of the 19th century to the Åland Islands, part of the autonomous region of Åland in Finland. It is believed that the ship was bound for St. Petersburg, Russia, and the precious cargo meant for the Russia Tsar, Nicholas I.

These two bottles will be added to the existing collection of the Buyan of seven bottles of 1907 Charles Heidsieck & Monopole champagne found in another sinking in the Baltic Sea. They were part of a Swedish cargo by a German submarine during the second world war in 1916. These bottles are also on the way of the Court of the last Tsar Nicolas II, rear grandson of Nicholas I.

Another historic wine in possession of the Buyan is the oldest drinkable wine in Asia, a yellow wine of 1821, which will not be put on sale. Buyan currently has also 20 bottles of rare wines vintage of the world - some preceded the two world wars and are actually available on wines from the restaurant, including an 1877 château Margaux, a Lafite Rothschild 1854 and 1883 and a Mouton Rothschild of 1859.

All 145 bottles found in the wreck were opened, tasted and re-corked with two best bottles acquired by Buyan. These historical bottles which were still bubbles - indicative of their fine quality - will be actually drunk one day, but not in the very near future. Champagne Veuve Clicquot itself would have "notes of linden flowers and lime peels" and was delivered by world-class Champagne expert Richard Juhlin, who tasted some of the bottles last year, "... great... wonderful... with an intense flavour...". "

Buyan provides a grand unveiling of bottles and other Russian souvenirs in September, and only in fine dining restaurant customers will be able to view their later, (but step taste them of course).

Appreciation of wine is a pastime which is gathering serious and passionate Singapore, prosecutors so "Buyan Wine Museum" of sorts will allow its fine access for patrons to eat and the view of these sought after possessions. The Buyan team is thrilled to acquire two bottles as additions to their collection and can't wait to show these jewels to the public.

Proceeds from the sale auction generated by the sale of Champagne bottles will be channeled to charitable causes organised by the Government of Åland, namely, environmental solutions to improve the quality of water in the sea and Marine archaeology.

This is also consistent with the ecological approach to the Buyan production methods used in the restaurant and Buyan is known as the first restaurant without paper Singapore that it uses for menus iPad rather than those printed on paper of livestock.

First shipment of the world to film the "most dangerous of all sharks" to...

Written By anfaku01 on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 | 1:23 PM

Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 09, 2011.

All the fins on the Productions has just completed a revolutionary expedition to film and document the shark of oceanic sharks in the Bahamas. The trip included the first dive at night never planned, organized and photographed with the oceanic whitetip without the protection of a shark cage.

Experienced diver and photographer Robert Cantrell was the organizer and the leader of the effort. "We have spent more than a year looking at a strategy for this dive." Common wisdom is that you do not have oceanics at night. When we entered are first in the water during the night, these sharks curious and daring us pushed. It was intense. "The images that result are riveting to watch."

"I always wanted to try that, but never had the right team at the right time," says the head of expedition shark Jim Abernethy, a photographer from the award-winning wildlife and filmmaker. "Jacques Cousteau called once the oceanic whitetip the most dangerous of all sharks shark."

Emmy award winning producer George c. Schellenger was also on board. He recently won an award for the new documentary "" is your ocean: sharks. "" "One of the best ways to protect these animals is to show their true nature during the day and evening."

The team used a variety of cameras and a seaplane to document the journey and the sharks in a way never tried before. Accomplished filmmaker Joe Romeiro joined the team. He recently won an award for a tribute to the legendary Undersea Explorer Jacques Cousteau. "It was one of the best experiences of my life." We had no idea what to expect during the night. »

The sea voyage took filmmakers in a remote location in the Eastern Bahamas, one of the places in the world where people can find reliable oceanic whitetip sharks last. Throughout history, the survivors of shipwrecks and air disasters have met this shark. This included more famous the USS Indianapolis after the second world war, where some deaths have been attributed to this shark. While once prolific in the world, this shark was hunted to near extinction in the last decade.

Jacques Cousteau called the "Lord of the long Hands" oceanic whitetip sharks due to their exceptionally long, white tipped fins and a tendency to dominate other species of sharks. A documentary of the trip, titled "sharks: Lord of the Long Hands," will be available later this year.

Shark has been included in good place in the 1970 documentary, "Blue water," dead white, when a team led by Peter Gimble, was the first to dive with the multiple oceanic whitetip sharks during the day. During the night, they never left the cage.
